“Being invited by NTS Radio to do an 2 hour mix that encompasses a sum of my influences is a harder task than I initially assumed; I like set parameters and imposed limitations/disciplines, it makes me more productive.
So, I thought I’d restrict myself to using only my vinyl collection, and do the mix on 2 x Technics decks with a standard DJ mixer.
I turned to my 7” collection; and began pulling out and playing everything and anything that has had an profound impact on my music regardless of guise/context.
This got out of control, and eventually I turned to albums too, I also ran out of time!
